There is an array of cab firms in Norwich. All run by the same cartel or so the rumours go.
There main uses are for coming back from the supermarket (Links to supermarket?) leaden with good value student food or coming back from a night out on the town when you cant remember your name yet alone where castle meadow is to get on the bus home. ABC distinguishes itself by offering student discounts as well as taking your campus card as a deposit for (not in lieu) of payment. A trip from campus to town should be around £5 pounds. Bear in mind that taxi firms like to charge a bit more if you live in Norfolk D-F, because they "have to go all the way down to the bottom and turn round" they grumble. Overall Taxis are a fun and useful way of getting around and if theirs four of you in the cab into town it works out just about the same as the bus.
